Nvidia seeks $500 billion AI infrastructure financing with Wall Street asset managers
Nvidia is seeking to raise $500 billion for artificial intelligence infrastructure with major Wall Street asset managers. CNBC reported on Aug. 10 that Nvidia is working on a financing package with Apollo Global Management, Blackstone, BlackRock unit Global Infrastructure Partners, Brookfield Asset Management, Goldman Sachs and KKR. CNBC said an announcement could come as soon as Aug. 10. The Financial Times first reported the plan.

Naver AI factory in talks on Nvidia GPUs, Brookfield funding to cut investment burden
Naver is pursuing a plan to build its AI factory by receiving graphics processing units from Nvidia and securing computing infrastructure through a separate investment structure under discussion with Brookfield Asset Management. Under the structure, an SPV funded through project financing would buy and own GPUs and data centre facilities, while Naver would operate the business and pay for use. The first phase targets 200 MW by 2028, starting at its Gak Sejong data centre.

OpenAI, Anthropic set up AI joint ventures with private equity firms to battle for enterprise market
OpenAI and Anthropic are setting up joint ventures to target the enterprise market. Anthropic said on May 4 it will form a venture focused on corporate AI services with Blackstone, Hellman & Friedman and Goldman Sachs, alongside other investors. The Wall Street Journal put the venture’s valuation at $1.5 billion. Bloomberg reported OpenAI is raising $4 billion for The Development Company at a $10 billion valuation.
