Nvidia is seeking $500 billion in financing for artificial intelligence infrastructure with major Wall Street asset managers.

CNBC reported on Aug. 10 that Nvidia is working on a financing package with Apollo Global Management, Blackstone, BlackRock unit Global Infrastructure Partners, Brookfield Asset Management, Goldman Sachs and KKR.

An announcement could come as soon as Aug. 10, CNBC reported. The Financial Times first reported the plan.

Nvidia aims to use the fundraising to help major customers secure funds needed to buy advanced GPUs, build large-scale data centres and lock in long-term power capacity.
