Bami telecommunications commission to launch user participation reporting system to curb exaggerated device subsidy ads
South Korea\'s Broadcasting Media Telecommunications Commission said it will introduce a user participation reporting system from March 3 to reduce consumer harm linked to false or exaggerated handset subsidy advertising and missing contract details. The system will be launched to coincide with Samsung Electronics\' Galaxy S26 release. Users can report cases such as subsidy discrepancies, failure to provide contracts and missing contract entries. Verified reports can receive compensation up to 200,000 won per year.
