OpenAI-Microsoft partnership deal revised, OpenAI products can also be sold on AWS

OpenAI has signed a revised partnership agreement with Microsoft, securing the right to sell its products through cloud providers other than Microsoft, the Wall Street Journal reported on April 27. That could allow OpenAI models and services to be offered on platforms including Amazon Web Services. The revision removes a disputed AGI clause, changes revenue sharing through 2030 and ends Microsoft’s exclusive licence rights, though Microsoft can keep using OpenAI products until 2032.
