95 percent of marketing teams use AI but only 6 percent see clear results
Most marketing organisations have adopted AI tools, but few have translated them into clear business results, a survey found. Bain’s poll of 1,397 senior marketing and finance executives showed 95 percent said their organisation uses AI, while only 6 percent reported significant results. Bain said “leader” companies were more likely to report double-digit revenue gains or cost cuts. Other surveys by Dentsu Creative and PwC showed similar gaps in benefits.

XRP ETF inflows hold up despite price swings, Bloomberg analyst says
Cumulative net inflows into spot XRP exchange-traded funds have neared $1.79 billion, even as XRP has seen sharp price swings, according to figures cited in the report. Bloomberg ETF analyst James Seyffart called the inflows surprisingly resilient. Inflows rose from about $150 million in November 2025 to about $1.45 billion in January 2026 and reached about $1.79 billion by Aug. 26. Weekly inflows jumped 177 percent to about $110.49 million.

Lumilens raises over $700 million at $5.5 billion valuation, aims to replace copper interconnects in data centers
Second-year startup Lumilens has raised more than $700 million at a $5.5 billion valuation, the Wall Street Journal reported. Atrades Management, Bain Capital Ventures, MeritTech, Seligman Ventures and Spark Capital co-led the round, taking total funding above $900 million. The company has begun shipping equipment to an unnamed hyperscaler and contracts could be worth billions of dollars over the next few years. Lumilens aims to replace copper wiring with optical interconnects.
