Austria\'s financial regulator has ordered KuCoin\'s EU exchange to halt new business after pointing to shortcomings in its anti-money laundering, counter-terrorism financing and sanctions monitoring systems, Cointelegraph reported on Sunday. KuCoin\'s Vienna entity must stop onboarding new customers and suspend concluding new contracts and products. KuCoin EU said two AML and sanctions monitoring officers recently left and that it had already been recruiting replacements.

Baidu adds OpenClo to AI search app for 700 million users
China\'s Baidu will integrate the AI agent OpenClo into its search app and provide it directly to 700 million users, CNBC reported on Feb. 13. Users who choose to use OpenClo can automate tasks including schedule management, file organisation and code writing. OpenClo is an open-source AI agent developed in Austria and was previously available only through messaging apps such as WhatsApp and Telegram. Some cybersecurity firms have raised security concerns.
