Saemaul Geumgo to hire 149 entry-level staff in second half
Saemaul Geumgo will recruit 149 entry-level employees in the second half of the year, with hiring to take place across 109 branches nationwide, Saemaul Geumgo Federation said on Aug. 3. Applications will be accepted through Aug. 10 on its recruitment website. The process includes document screening, a written test on Aug. 29 and interviews conducted at the hiring branch, with at least one external interviewer. Final candidates are to be announced in September.

Ethereum 1,003 recovered after 10 years as Hongcoin ICO investor refunds resume
Ethereum 1,003 locked for years in a 2016 Hongcoin (HONG) initial coin offering smart contract has been recovered, allowing investor refunds to resume. Cointelegraph reported that an anonymous whitehat, 0xflorent, worked with developers to restore access to funds worth about $2 million at current prices. The funds belong to 48 ICO participants. On-chain records show some refunds have begun, though it was unclear if all investors had been repaid.

eBay says eGS users rose 91 percent last year on cross-border sales growth
eBay said on Tuesday that users of its eBay eGS overseas delivery service rose 91 percent from a year earlier in 2025, while total shipping volume increased 41 percent. Shipments to the United States grew, with September to December volumes more than doubling from a year earlier. Growth also expanded to Canada, Australia, Europe and Britain. eBay said it is strengthening delivery convenience by partnering with GS25, CU and Emart24.
