NCSoft to recruit testers in August for \'Astrae Oratio\' closed beta
NCSoft said on July 20 it will run a closed beta test for its new subculture RPG \'Astrae Oratio\' and begin recruiting participants in August. The test is a trial operation to give general users their first chance to play ahead of the official launch. Detailed schedules and participation procedures will be announced later. NCSoft also plans to attend overseas events in the second half of the year, including Comic Market in August and Tokyo Game Show in September.

Korean game makers head to Gamescom and Tokyo Game Show to test new titles
South Korean game companies are set to appear in succession at Gamescom 2026 in Cologne and Tokyo Game Show 2026 in Chiba, highlighting new PC, console and subculture titles. Krafton plans a large booth and five new games, while Pearl Abyss teams up with Samsung Electronics to show Crimson Desert. NC runs a B2B booth via its North American unit. NCsoft\'s new subculture game Astrae Oratio to join Japan Comiket in August
NCsoft said on Thursday its new subculture role-playing game, Astrae Oratio, will take part in Comiket in Japan. The summer Comiket, in its 108th edition, will be held on Aug. 15 to 16 at Tokyo Big Sight. NCsoft plans to run on-site events at a corporate booth and gradually expand user engagement. The company will also unveil new merchandise, including an official artbook, and released sample artbook images on the game\'s official social media account.
