NCsoft has picked Japan's biggest fan-made creative event as the first official offline step for its new subculture title in development.
On Thursday, NCsoft said its new subculture RPG Astrae Oratio will take part in Comiket in Japan.
Comiket is an event where subculture fans and creators in comics, animation and games gather to sell creative works and merchandise and to network. This summer's Comiket, in its 108th edition, will be held on Aug. 15 to 16 at Tokyo Big Sight in Japan.
The participation will be Astrae Oratio's first offline event. NCsoft plans to set up a corporate booth, run on-site events that users can join directly and gradually expand points of contact.
The company plans to showcase a range of new merchandise at the booth, including an official artbook. Earlier on Thursday, it released sample images of the artbook through Astrae Oratio's official social media account.
The images include early concepts and settings for key characters in the game. The full artbook is expected to include materials from the development process, such as the game's universe and visual posters, in addition to character content.
