OpenAI completes appointment of local representative in South Korea
OpenAI has completed the appointment of a local representative in South Korea under the revised Personal Information Protection Act, officials said. The law requires overseas firms with a Korean unit to designate that unit as the local representative and disclose it in their privacy policy. OpenAI updated its Korea privacy policy on April 1.
