XRP rally tops top 100 cryptocurrencies by gains

XRP surged as much as about 24 percent on Aug. 20, the biggest gain among the top 100 cryptocurrencies by market value. It climbed to about $1.26 and was up about 31 percent over seven days. XRP’s rise outpaced other major altcoins. With a market value of about $79.15 billion, it ranked fifth among cryptocurrencies, with about $6.34 billion in 24-hour trading volume.

Bitcoin outperforms Nasdaq 100 over 60 days

Bitcoin has reversed its underperformance against the tech-heavy Nasdaq 100 over the past 60 days, rising 2 percent while the index fell 3 percent. Bitcoin jumps to $69,000 range as Trump says crypto headwinds are over

Bitcoin rose to its highest level since June, lifting the broader cryptocurrency market. Donald Trump said the headwinds facing the crypto industry were over and again stressed a pro-crypto stance. Bitcoin gained 7.28 percent over the past 24 hours, while Hyperliquid\'s HYPE jumped 21.85 percent amid a positive tone from the U.S. CFTC. Trump also urged action on the CLARITY Act and said the U.S. was considering large-scale bitcoin purchases.
