Chairman Michael Saylor said the average cost per bitcoin was $75,577 and cumulative purchases total about $59 billion, with current holdings valued at about $55.4 billion.

Strategy is expanding two investment instruments backed by the same bitcoin holdings: common stock MSTR and perpetual preferred stock STRC. MSTR delivers leveraged exposure to bitcoin price moves but carries higher volatility, dilution risk and no dividend. STRC aims for monthly cash income and trades near its $100 par value through adjustable dividend rates. Investor bases differ, and external analysts draw similar lines between growth-focused leverage and income-focused stability.
