Trump says AI could account for 25 percent of U.S. GDP, pushes AI Force and AI czar
U.S. President Donald Trump said he would push to create an “AI Force” and appoint a new AI czar, saying he wants to make AI a key growth engine for the U.S. economy. He said Washington should focus on expanding the industry and leave illegal acts to the existing justice system. Trump said AI could account for as much as 25 percent of U.S. GDP amid competition with China.
