Pakistan to work with Trump-linked World Liberty to build stablecoin-based cross-border payments
Pakistan is partnering with World Liberty Financial, a decentralised finance company linked to U.S. President Donald Trump’s family, to build a digital payment system, Cointelegraph reported. The cooperation centres on using World Liberty Financial’s USD1 stablecoin to support cross-border payments. The project is led by SC Financial Technologies and is described as World Liberty Financial’s first collaboration with a sovereign state. SC Financial Technologies will work with Pakistan’s central bank on a regulated digital payments framework.

U.S. withdrawal from international bodies shakes cybersecurity cooperation
The United States is beginning procedures to withdraw from multiple international organisations responsible for cyber security and countering hybrid threats, following instructions from President Donald Trump. The administration decided the bodies are inefficient and not in line with U.S. national interests, Techzine reported, citing Computing. The broader shift would see Washington leave 66 organisations, including the European Centre of Excellence for Countering Hybrid Threats and the Global Forum on Cyber Expertise.
