AI platform company Ditonic said on Thursday it signed a strategic partnership MOU with Muhan Information Technology for AI-based disaster response and a global expansion in smart farming.
The two companies plan to complete a “win-win AI ecosystem” by combining Ditonic’s AI platform infrastructure with Muhan Information Technology’s specialised technologies in disaster and agriculture. They agreed to cooperate on joint participation in public projects in disaster and smart farming, joint R&D to develop an intelligent integrated data model, establishing ecosystem guidelines based on global standards, and a joint entry into global AX markets starting in ASEAN.
Ditonic CEO Yong-joo Jeon (전용주) said AI technology is completed only when domain experts’ wisdom blooms on the foundation of a platform. He said Ditonic will provide a free data ecosystem so partners such as Muhan Information Technology can focus on solving difficult problems in the field.
Muhan Information Technology CEO Kyung-rok Bae (배경록) said Ditonic’s platform ecosystem is a stage that can maximise the value of domain solutions. He said the company will create meaningful standards in the global AX market based on technological confidence confirmed in a drought-response project.
