Woori Bank is moving to expand its customer base for budget mobile users and secure demand for family sign-ups.
Woori Bank said on Thursday it will run the “As Everyone WONs It” event, which strengthens benefits for family bundles.
The event, run on the budget mobile service WooriWON Mobile, offers up to 50,000 won in “honey money” and additional data to new customers who activate service within May and join a family bundle. If a minor child activates service, the benefit is provided to the parent so family members can share the benefits.
New subscribers to the “Woori WON Double Coupon 5G 125GB+” plan can receive 30,000 won in Naver Pay (Npay) points, “honey money” worth 217,800 won over 6 months, up to 100,000 won for referring friends (20,000 won per person), and membership benefits worth 60,000 won. Additional fee discounts are also provided when bundled with LG Uplus internet and IPTV.
Yoon Se-ra (윤세라), a deputy head of Woori Bank’s WON Mobile Business Department, said, “We prepared benefits that families can feel when they activate service together.”
