Naver evolves AI shopping agent beyond search to suggestion-based shopping
Naver is upgrading the AI agent functions in its shopping app to expand personalised commerce experiences. The company said its AI Shopping Agent has been updated from a guide that helps users explore and summarise products to a stage where it first proposes conversations to users. The agent analyses shopping activity history such as clicks, favourites and cart additions, along with recent trends, to suggest directions for shopping exploration.

South Korean artificial intelligence models are expanding across industrial sites, from semiconductor manufacturing to autonomous farm machinery and nuclear power plant operations. SK Telecom is applying its AI model to SK Hynix work environments and is reviewing deployment at chipmaking sites. Motif Technologies and Mobirus are integrating VLA technology for autonomous farm machinery. Naver Cloud built a generative AI platform with Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power. Upstage embedded Solar in Allganize's Alli service.

Samsung Display unveils world's first 4K 360Hz QD-OLED
Samsung Display is unveiling a new lineup of OLED and QD-OLED products for gaming displays as self-emissive panels replace LCDs in the market. The company said it will showcase 16 products ranging from an 8.8-inch portable gaming PC panel to a 49-inch monitor panel at Computex 2026 in Taipei from June 2 to 5. It is also debuting an ultra-slim laptop panel and a 4K 360Hz QD-OLED monitor.
