Trust Wallet has introduced a real-time address detection feature to protect cryptocurrency users, Cointelegraph reported on Monday. The feature automatically detects scam addresses to prevent users from inadvertently sending assets to the wrong destination. Trust Wallet said the update is aimed at countering a recent surge in address poisoning attacks, in which scammers seed transaction histories with their addresses to trick victims into copying them. Cointelegraph reported more than 225 million attacks and confirmed losses of $500 million.

U.S. battery technology company Ion Storage Systems said its solid-state battery product, the Cornerstone Cell, has passed a customer performance validation. An electric-vehicle outlet reported the company called it the first such customer validation among U.S. solid-state battery firms. Ion is focusing first on industrial equipment and consumer electronics rather than electric vehicles. Production is set for a plant in Beltsville, Maryland, with a new sintering furnace planned for 2026.
