Nvidia unveils BlueField-4 STX architecture targeting AI storage

Nvidia has unveiled a BlueField-4 STX reference architecture designed to build storage systems for AI clusters, SiliconANGLE reported on March 17. The architecture is based on the BlueField-4 data processing unit and manages data traffic between GPUs and flash storage. It also includes Spectrum-X Ethernet switches and ConnectX-9 SuperNIC to support higher AI storage performance. Nvidia expects partners to ship BlueField-4 STX systems from the second half of 2026.
