[DigitalToday reporter Yoonseo Lee (이윤서)] Cardano (ADA) extended its rebound from a June low as its 24-hour trading volume growth rate topped 33 percent.

U.Today, a blockchain media outlet, reported on Monday local time that ADA has shown its most active trading flow in recent weeks and is trying to break through a key technical resistance line.

ADA recovered its 26-day and 50-day exponential moving averages and then rose to around $0.197. The market is watching whether it can break above the 100-day exponential moving average, which sits at a similar level. This zone is a key resistance line that has repeatedly blocked ADA rebound attempts this year. Some say the difference from past rebounds is that trading participation has clearly increased.

The rise in volume appeared across major exchanges. Binance handled more than $325 million in ADA futures trading over the past 24 hours, taking the largest share. Trading was also active on Bybit and OKX. That means ADA trading expanded across the market rather than demand being concentrated on a single exchange.

Signals also emerged suggesting new inflows. Open interest rose on several exchanges, raising the possibility that new funds are entering rather than existing positions simply shifting. Positions in the derivatives market also tilted somewhat toward buying. The position ratio of top traders generally stayed balanced, but the long-short account ratios on Binance and OKX were above 1.

The recovery in market interest appears to reflect both stability across the broader crypto market and expectations for the Cardano ecosystem. As large altcoins show relatively strong momentum compared with bitcoin, Cardano is pushing the Leios scaling work and interoperability initiatives such as CANS. A plan to fund Project Catalyst, which supports application development and an expansion in on-chain activity, also affected investor sentiment.

Technical indicators also pointed to a strong uptrend. The relative strength index (RSI) approached 70, indicating stronger buying momentum. As it is nearing the overbought zone, short-term volatility could also increase.

A key point to watch is whether ADA can keep volume rising even after breaking above the 100-day moving average. With the current volume surge supplementing a confirmation signal that was lacking in previous rebounds, market attention is focused on whether it can break the resistance line.
