Techfin Ratings launches monthly financial statements service

Techfin Ratings, a fintech-focused affiliate of Duzon Bizon, launched a service on Wednesday to calculate “monthly financial statements” that help assess corporate financial soundness on a timely basis. The service breaks down evaluation methods that relied on annual settlement data into monthly units. The company said its AI algorithm, developed using bookkeeping data, achieved more than 90 percent consistency based on operating profit. Techfin Ratings also signed a data supply deal with Shinhan Bank.

Tmax Tibero migrates Kcomwel employment and industrial accident insurance total service to cloud

Tmax Tibero said on Tuesday it has completed a cloud-native conversion project for the Korea Workers’ Compensation and Welfare Service’s employment and industrial accident insurance total service system. The company said the project fully redesigned a large administrative system used by an average of more than 2.5 million people per month from an on-premises setup to an NHN Cloud-based cloud-native environment. It also upgraded the core DBMS to Tibero 7.

PC market grows 9.1 percent on Windows 11 replacement cycle

Global PC shipments exceeded 270 million units in 2025, up 9.1 percent from 2024, according to Gartner preliminary findings released on Jan. 21. Fourth-quarter shipments rose 9.3 percent to 71.5 million. Gartner cited demand for Windows 11 upgrades and inventory buildup ahead of memory price increases. Lenovo retained the top spot, with HP and Dell also posting shipment growth. Gartner also noted limits to AI PC productivity gains.
