Upbit to run 'Team Korea' cheering campaign for 2026 Winter Olympics

Upbit said on Monday it will run a cheering campaign for South Korea's national team, Team Korea, for the 2026 Milan-Cortina d'Ampezzo Winter Olympics. The company released a campaign video on its official YouTube channel on Feb. 2, following a brand campaign featuring figure skater Cha Jun-hwan. Upbit plans to deliver 100 million won worth of bitcoin to the Korean Sport & Olympic Committee on Feb. 5 in Milan and hold Olympic-themed in-app events during the Games.

SKT teams up with Hana Card to offer Hana Money to overseas travel customers

SK Telecom said on Monday it has partnered with Hana Card to run a special promotion for customers using T Roaming and the TravelGO debit card. Customers who join the baro plan and spend at least 100,000 won overseas using the card will receive 20,000 Hana Money, paid at the end of the following month. The promotion runs through March 31, with applications via T World or Hana Pay.

Liner earns badge meeting essential generative AI requirements

AI agent startup Liner said on Monday it has obtained an "essential generative AI requirements" badge, becoming the first domestic AI company to do so. The badge was awarded by the Responsible AI Institute, which verifies compliance using 75 global control items including NIST’s AI risk management framework, ISO/IEC 42001 and OWASP LLM security guidelines. Liner said it exceeded passing scores and met criteria across key areas.
