Financial regulators to conduct on-site checks at four exchanges other than Bithumb

South Korea's financial authorities are conducting on-site checks at four cryptocurrency exchanges other than Bithumb following a bitcoin misdeposit incident. A report submitted to the National Assembly's Political Affairs Committee said an emergency response team will lead sequential checks on Tuesday to review asset verification systems and internal controls. Authorities said they may improve DAXA self-regulation and consider reflecting findings in the second phase digital asset law. Checks could be upgraded to formal inspections if violations are found.

GS25 launches single-serving pizza tailored for quick commerce with Baemin

GS Retail said on Tuesday that GS25 has launched a new quick-commerce product, a single-serving pizza, developed in cooperation with Baedal Minjok. The company said it chose the category after determining that about 40 percent of total sales from its existing ready-made pizzas, including Gopizza, come from delivery and pickup services. GS25 plans to accelerate development of quick-commerce products linked with platforms.
