Woori Bank, KIBO to provide 210 billion won support to SMEs hit by Middle East conflict
Woori Bank said on Sunday it signed an agreement with the Korea Technology Finance Corp to support small and medium-sized companies facing difficulties from global instability such as the Middle East war. Woori Bank will make a special contribution of 4 billion won to KIBO and provide about 210 billion won in financial support. Eligible firms include direct exporters to the Middle East, companies hurt by disruptions to Middle East crude oil supply chains, firms with management difficulties and those recommended by Woori Bank.

SK Hynix starts mass production of 192GB memory module for AI servers
SK Hynix has started mass production of its next-generation 192GB SOCAMM2 memory module for AI servers, it said on Sunday. The module uses 10-nanometre-class sixth-generation 1c LPDDR5X low-power DRAM. The company said the product offers more than double the bandwidth of RDIMM and improves energy efficiency by more than 75 percent. It said the module is designed for Nvidia's next-generation Vera Rubin platform.

Hecto Group steps up global Web3 push with commitment to Hashed fund
Hecto Group committed capital to 'Hashed Venture Investment Fund No. 3', a fund formed by global blockchain-focused investment firm Hashed, as it accelerates its push into overseas markets. Hecto Group affiliates Hecto Innovation and Hecto Financial said on April 20 they made a total strategic investment of 3 billion won in the fund established by Hashed Ventures. Hecto Group said the move aims to combine Hashed’s global Web3 ecosystem with its financial and payments infrastructure.
