Coway tops K-BPI water purifier category for 28th straight year, expands Icon lineup

Coway said it ranked No. 1 in the water purifier category of the 2026 Korea Brand Power Index for the 28th consecutive year. It has held the top spot every year since the survey began in 1999, and it is the only company to lead an appliance category for 28 straight years. Coway also said it ranked first for 24 straight years in air purifiers and bidets, and it unveiled new Icon ice water purifier models and Birex sleep-tech products.

U.S. Pentagon drops OCX GPS ground control programme after 16 years

The U.S. Defense Department has formally halted OCX, a next-generation ground control system for the U.S. military’s GPS satellite network, after years of technical problems and cost and schedule overruns. The programme, awarded in 2010 to Raytheon, now RTX, was initially expected to cost $3.7 billion and finish in 2016, but government spending rose to about $6.27 billion and total completion was estimated near $8 billion. The U.S. Space Force will instead upgrade the existing GPS control system.

OKX fuels XRP collaboration rumours as community speculation spreads

Crypto exchange OKX has drawn market attention with a brief post that mentioned XRP without explanation, spurring widespread investor speculation. The post topped 700,000 views and drew the biggest response to an OKX post in about two months. Some in the XRP community debated whether it signalled a new partnership or merely reflected recent price strength. OKX previously ran XRP promotions and highlighted the token in past campaigns.
