NH Nonghyup Bank launches back-to-school account opening event for teens

NH Nonghyup Bank said on March 3 it will run a back-to-school promotion for youth customers from March 3 to April 30. Under the “Teens-only back-to-school checklist” event, elementary, middle and high school students who sign up on NH All One Bank for demand deposits or savings products are automatically entered. A lottery will award 10,000-won Olive Young vouchers to 1,000 winners, with an additional voucher for those opening both types.

Kakao expands NHIS electronic documents, sending over 300 types via KakaoTalk

Kakao said on Tuesday it will expand its KakaoTalk mobile electronic document service in cooperation with the National Health Insurance Service. The move will allow users to receive more than 300 types of documents sent by the NHIS through KakaoTalk, including health screening forms and guidance notices. Users can receive documents via KakaoTalk notifications without installing another app or signing up, and can verify their identity using Kakao’s certificate when viewing them.

Hana Bank to support anchor firms in Busan and Yeongnam

Hana Bank said on Tuesday it signed an agreement with Busan city, the Busan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Kibo Technology Fund and Korea Credit Guarantee Fund to support the development of anchor firms in the Busan and Yeongnam region. The bank will contribute 15.2 billion won to supply 505.6 billion won in liquidity and subsidise guarantee fees on part of the support for 2 years. Busan will also offer interest subsidies for working capital loans.
