The company boosted money market funds and government securities while keeping bitcoin holdings at 18,712 BTC. It spent $15.83 billion on AI infrastructure in the second quarter. Concerns persist over rising AI spending and potential share sales by insiders, alongside elevated short interest and derivatives activity.

CarPlay adds mini player and audio scrubbing in iOS 27

Apple is adding a mini player for audio apps and an audio scrubbing feature to iOS 27 CarPlay. The changes apply to CarPlay audio apps including Apple Music and Apple Podcasts. The top-right of the screen will show artwork and basic playback controls, allowing users to control audio without switching to the Now Playing screen. CarPlay will also support dragging the playback bar to jump to a desired point.

OpenAI's first smart device is being discussed at a price of about $300 to $400 per unit, reports said. Bloomberg reported it is being developed as a portable, display-free smart speaker using high-end metal materials, with a built-in battery and donut shape about the size of a hockey puck. It is designed to work in different locations and may include movement to signal interaction. OpenAI is said to aim for a 2027 launch, though timing may change due to Apple’s lawsuit.
