GS25 expands 24-hour delivery via Coupang Eats nationwide

GS25 will expand its 24-hour delivery service through Coupang Eats to major regions nationwide. From May 19, the GS Retail-run chain will start 24-hour delivery at about 1,000 outlets outside parts of Seoul and Gyeonggi and some areas of six major cities. GS25 said late-night delivery sales at participating stores rose 42.7 percent in six months, prompting the expansion. Snacks, ice cream and noodles led late-night purchases.

Justem secures 30 billion won semiconductor policy funding from KDB

Justem has secured 30 billion won in semiconductor policy funding from the Korea Development Bank to speed construction of a third plant and expand research and development investment, it said on May 18. The financing is a fiscal-linked fund that KDB provides for facility investment to strengthen semiconductor manufacturing capabilities. Justem said it obtained the funding at an ultra-low interest rate with a 10-year repayment term.

Hecto Healthcare's Kim Seok-jin LAB to showcase kids nutrition products

Hecto Healthcare's kids health functional food brand Kim Seok-jin LAB will take part in the Suwon COEX Baby Fair, it said on Sunday. The event will run from May 21 to 24 at Suwon Messe. The brand plans to broaden on-site contact with expecting and first-time parents and to present its brand direction. It will introduce products focused on key growth-stage nutrients such as probiotics, omega-3 and vitamin D, and run customer participation events.
