Tesla FSD not only faster on HW4; older HW3 improves 36.6 percent

Tesla’s latest Full Self-Driving software significantly improved response times to an unexpected pedestrian scenario even on the same in-car computer, a test showed. HW4 with FSD v14.3.4 was the quickest at 0.450 seconds. On HW3, FSD v14 Lite responded in 0.675 seconds, while older FSD v12.6.4 took 1.065 seconds. The comparison suggests performance depends on software as well as hardware, though it is not enough to judge overall safety.

LG Electronics' Choi Seok-ho and JM JECO's Choi Yoon-hwa named August Korea Engineer Award winners

South Korea's Ministry of Science and ICT and the Korea Industrial Technology Association (KOITA) named LG Electronics senior researcher Choi Seok-ho (최석호) and JM JECO CEO Choi Yoon-hwa (최윤화) as August 2026 winners of the Korea Engineer Award. Choi Seok-ho was recognised for applying biomimetic fluid-control design to fans used in air conditioners and air purifiers, improving airflow and energy efficiency. Choi Yoon-hwa was recognised for developing and commercialising copper-conductor-based power semiconductor packaging technology.

Neople to hire at Jeju headquarters to boost Dungeon Fighter live service

Neople said on Sunday it will conduct a focused hiring drive at its Jeju headquarters to improve the service competitiveness of Dungeon Fighter. The recruitment targets the Dungeon Fighter project and will hire a double-digit number of staff across 12 positions, including game planning, programming, game business and technical support. Applications are open through Aug. 23 via the Nexon Company recruitment site. Successful candidates will work at the Jeju headquarters in Nohyeong-dong, Jeju City.
