Yanolja posts first annual revenue above 1 trillion won, aggregate TTV hits record 39.2 trillion won
Yanolja said it posted annual revenue above 1 trillion won for the first time since its founding. The global travel tech company said 2025 consolidated revenue under K-IFRS rose 11.3 percent from a year earlier to 1.03 trillion won, citing strong growth in its enterprise solutions business and stable profits in its consumer platform business. Aggregate TTV surged 44.9 percent to a record 39.2 trillion won.

IPTV content fee payment rate stuck in high 20s, below other industries
IPTV operators’ payment rate for broadcast content programme fees has become fixed in the high 20 percent range and remains significantly lower than other content industries, an analysis showed. Lee Sung-min (이성민), a professor at Korea National Open University, presented the findings at a Korea Broadcast Association seminar on Tuesday. He said IPTV’s rate was 28.7 percent in 2024, compared with 72.6 percent for cable operators’ basic channels.

Homeplus Express letter of intent submission deadline closes, multiple bidders file
Homeplus said on Monday that the deadline for submitting letters of intent to acquire Homeplus Express had closed. The company said it had confirmed that multiple companies submitted letters of intent. Homeplus said it is proceeding with the sale of the convenience store unit and expects additional submissions from other potential bidders depending on how the process progresses. It said bidder names and detailed terms were not disclosed as talks are ongoing.
