SKT steps up benefits for long-term customers with food event invites, more data

SK Telecom is expanding and revamping its T long-term customer program for customers with at least 10 years of service. The company will consolidate invitation events under “T Long-term Customer Day” and present food, culture and entertainment events through year-end, inviting about 10,000 customers and companions. It is also running a “Table Day” food event in five cities. From July 1, SKT will expand its long-term customer data benefits and remove the 30GB cap.

Search click-through rate plunges 60 percent; GEO touted as solution for marketing in AI era

Pluszero, a GEO data consulting firm, unveiled an integrated VoC×GEO strategy to counter a search marketing crisis in the AI era. Chief executive Jung Sung-jin said the “zero-click era” is taking hold as users rely on generative AI answers without opening links, with portal search link click-through rates recently plunging 60 percent. He urged marketers to combine SEO with GEO and AEO so AI search engines cite brands first.

ETF selling pressure grows, bitcoin may test $32,000 floor

Bitcoin could slide into the $30,000 range as institutional demand turns into net selling, an analysis showed. Data tracking institutional flows indicated selling from exchange-traded funds and corporate holdings rose to about 450 percent of daily new mining supply. Spot bitcoin ETF flows have turned clearly negative, with about $27 billion exiting over the past month. Strategy’s buying pace has slowed, and analysts warned support could break toward $32,000 or lower.
