Bitwise lists BWCC Canton Network ETP on Germany's Xetra to broaden institutional access

Bitwise Europe listed an exchange-traded product linked to Canton Network’s native token CC on Deutsche Boerse’s Xetra in Germany. The product, Bitwise Canton ETP with ticker BWCC, tracks Kaiko’s CANTO Reference Rate LDNLF index and charges an annual fee of 0.85 percent. The CC tokens are held by the issuer and kept in cold storage with 100 percent collateral, allowing trading through standard brokerage accounts without a crypto wallet.

Science ministry holds tribute ceremony for Korean science and technology merit awardees

South Korea's Ministry of Science and ICT held a tribute ceremony on Tuesday for science and technology merit awardees who contributed to national scientific and technological development. The ministry held the event at 3 p.m. at the Westin Josun Hotel in Seoul. It said 95 people have been honoured since the first designations in 2017 under a law on treatment and support for awardees. About 180 people attended, including awardees and families.

MSIT, MFDS demo AI imported food inspection solution to speed public AX

South Korea’s Ministry of Science and ICT and the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety held a demonstration on May 27 of an artificial intelligence imported food inspection solution in Cheongju. Developed under the government’s public AX project, the system automatically reviews Korean labelling and rapidly identifies hazardous imported foods. The solution is to be installed on the Import Safety Electronic Review 24 platform.
