Shopify rival Swap raises an additional $100 million in six months
AI-based e-commerce startup Swap raised $100 million in a new funding round within six months, TechCrunch reported on Tuesday. Icaniq, which led Swap’s $40 million Series B round last year, also joined the latest round. Swap is an e-commerce platform based in London and New York that provides luxury fashion brands with AI-based web store creation, cross-border transactions, inventory management and returns services. It competes directly with Shopify.

Grok AI says XRP could reach $10 by 2026, sparking debate
Elon Musk’s AI chatbot Grok stirred controversy after suggesting XRP could reach $10 by late 2026. The debate began when XRPL-based DEX First Ledger asked Grok for a price-outlook image, which showed XRP rising from $2.12 to $10 and spread rapidly on social media. Critics flagged a mismatch with Bitcoin price assumptions, prompting Grok to say it was only a playful scenario. A bet was also struck with influencer ScamDetective.

An analyst forecast says XRP could jump to $8 to $10 in 2026 if it follows a long-term rally pattern seen in gold. Cointelegraph cited the analyst as estimating XRP has upside potential of 230 percent to 310 percent from current levels if it repeats a “fractal” structure. The analysis also flags risks that XRP’s chart resembles an early stage of the 2021 to 2022 downturn. A decisive break above the 100-week EMA is seen as key.
