KB Financial Group’s candidates for its next chairman have been narrowed to three: Kwon Kwang-seok (권광석), former head of Woori Bank, KB Financial Group Chairman Yang Jong-hee (양종희) and KB Financial Group executive Lee Jae-geun (이재근).
KB Financial Group’s chairman nomination committee said on Aug. 27 it selected a final shortlist of three after holding a meeting and conducting in-depth interviews with shortlisted candidates.
The final shortlist includes former Woori Bank chief Kwon, KB Financial Group Chairman Yang and KB Financial Group executive Lee.
The committee plans to conduct a second round of in-depth interviews on Sept. 11 with the three finalists before confirming the final candidate for the next chairman.
