JobKorea (Worksphere), an AI and data-based HR tech platform, said on Feb. 26 it is holding the “People Who Made It” event, a contest for tech job applicants and successful hires.

The contest is designed to share real cases of workers who succeeded in getting hired or changing jobs, focusing on major tech roles such as development, PM·PO, marketing and design. It also aims to build empathy with job seekers and deliver practical employment insights.

Anyone who has succeeded in getting a new job or changing jobs within the past 2 years can take part. Participants should submit a successful application story of about 1,000 characters covering their job search or job-change process and experience through a JobKorea notice post by March 22.

JobKorea will separately select and announce outstanding stories that vividly capture an individual job search process. The selected stories are expected to be introduced later through various channels, including the JobKorea website and its official social media accounts.

A JobKorea official said, "If people share their own know-how for landing a job and job search strategies by role through their success stories, it will be a big help in boosting employment for more talent." The official added, "We will continue to expand information sharing and present job seekers with new recruitment experiences through planning various events and participatory content that span online and offline."
