Blockchain-based digital advertising startup EarnOS raised $6 million in a pre-Series A round led by 1ks.
The Block recently reported that Coinbase Ventures, Circle Ventures and Social Graph Ventures also took part in the funding round.
EarnOS completed beta testing of its Ero app and launched it in the United States, Canada, Australia and the UK. Ero is designed to let brands verify real human traffic, reduce losses from bots and reward "real digital actions".
Phil George (필 조지), EarnOS founder and CEO, said, "Brands are losing more than $100 billion a year to bots, fake engagement and AI-generated noise. Ero means brands pay only for real, verified results."
EarnOS said it also secured a strategic investment worth $12.5 million over four years from Layer 1 blockchain Verona. Verona supports verification, onboarding and reward payments for the Ero app.
