Business data platform company Coocon said on June 18 it provided Seoul with a "domestic corporate card EDI," supporting an upgrade to monitoring of corporate card usage by the city’s affiliated investment and funded agencies.
Seoul built an environment through the project to automatically collect and manage corporate card spending details of its affiliated agencies.
It said payment data for corporate cards from domestic card companies was automatically linked to Seoul’s business expense monitoring system, allowing more efficient management of corporate card spending by the affiliated investment and funded agencies.
Coocon provides the service based on a data infrastructure that can connect with all domestic card companies. It expects to be able to respond flexibly in the future to expanding monitoring targets, linking with new card companies and upgrading functions.
Seoul can also check corporate card spending that occurred the previous day on the following day, establishing an always-on monitoring system that reviews the status of business expense execution within 24 hours.
Coocon plans to expand the supply of its data automation solutions to local governments and public institutions. It also plans to continue expanding API services tailored to the public sector to support the digital transformation of administrative work and improve data usability.
Coocon CEO Jong-hyun Kim (김종현) said the case showed that Coocon’s data API can deliver data-driven work innovation in public administration beyond private-sector financial services. He said the company will continue to strengthen its data linkage infrastructure and API competitiveness to contribute to improving administrative efficiency and transparency.
