Subsoft, a subsidiary of Ziran Jisyo Security, has signed a strategic partnership with Japanese security company JSecurity and Exosphere Labs and will expand its mobile and PC integrated security solutions business in Japan, it said on Sunday.

The three companies plan to combine their expertise and target the Japanese market based on an integrated security system spanning mobile devices and PCs. Subsoft will handle mobile security technology and product development. Exosphere Labs will provide PC endpoint security solutions, and JSecurity will be responsible for local distribution and marketing in Japan.

Subsoft described the cooperation as an entry into the Japanese market based on its mobile security technology. It said the move is meaningful because Ziran Jisyo Security is expanding its global business scope into mobile security in addition to email security and document security.

Subsoft has developed technology specialising in mobile security since it was founded in 2011.

Through its entry into Japan, the company plans to launch not only a standalone mobile antivirus product but also integrated security products combined with PC security at the same time. It also plans to advance its security solutions tailored to the Japanese market environment.

A Ziran Jisyo Security official said demand for mobile device security is rising rapidly as Japanese companies expand their digital work environments. The official said the company plans to provide security services optimised for the Japanese market based on Subsoft's mobile security technology.
