Jiransoft Group's Japanese security company JSecurity has established a South Korea-based dedicated research and development unit, JSecurity X Co Ltd, the company said on June 8.
JSecurity has pursued business expansion based on experience built up in Japan's cybersecurity market. The company said the establishment of the South Korean corporation is intended to directly use South Korean security technology.
JSecurity X will operate as an independent R&D organisation in South Korea and has built a professional organisational structure with a systematised R&D process. It plans to use Jiransoft Group's know-how in security solution R&D to boost competitiveness in Japan.
Yoichi Imamura (이마무라 요이치), CEO of JSecurity X, said, "The launch of JSecurity X is the start of a new challenge that combines the security technology capabilities of South Korea and Japan into one." He added, "We will create global-level cybersecurity solutions together with South Korean technical talent."
Under the "All for Japan Security" slogan, JSecurity X plans to strengthen its roles as an R&D hub that quickly turns Japanese customer requirements into products, a tech bridge that links South Korean development capabilities with Japan's market strength to realise "Japan to Global," and a future lab that develops AI-based security automation and operational efficiency technologies.
JSecurity X plans to focus on developing AI-based next-generation security technologies beyond advancing existing security solutions, based on an AI-first strategy. It also plans to proactively respond to a rapidly changing security threat environment.
