[Digital Today reporter Ho-jeong Lee] Wemade Max's subsidiary Wemade Connect is officially launching a new subculture game as it moves to target the market.

Wemade Max said on Wednesday that 'Make Drama: MAD', a new mobile subculture role-playing game (RPG) serviced by its subsidiary Wemade Connect and developed by FluffyDuck, has been officially released in the South Korean market.

'Make Drama: MAD' is a new subculture title focused on collecting and developing girl characters. It highlights a story built around each character's narrative, animation direction based on live illustrations and a communication system that includes touch-response mechanics.

Wemade Connect confirmed the launch version as adults-only, considering in-game interaction features, concept and scalability of expression, and began service through Google Play and One Store. It plans to continue updates centered on various characters and world-view content.

It also prepared reward events to mark the official launch. First, all users who participated in pre-registration will receive the 3-star character 'Elysia', character summon tickets and in-game currency. It will also run a daily launch gift event offering login rewards and a surprise coupon gift event that reveals in-game coupon codes on the official community.

It will also give Naver Pay points and character summon tickets to selected users among those who achieved regional conquest, and will hold an event that grants rewards to all users after participants use all date tickets and provide verification.

Lee Jung-hoon (이정훈), CEO of FluffyDuck, said, "Make Drama: MAD is a work that focuses on maximizing immersion unique to the subculture genre, centered on the characters' appeal and interaction experience." He added, "Even after the official launch, we will continue to introduce new characters, stories and various content, expanding the game's inherent fun."
