Hana Bank will launch a discount promotion for individual customers in partnership with public delivery app Meokkaebi.

Hana Bank said on Wednesday it will jointly run an event with Meokkaebi to provide discount coupons to individual customers. The event follows a business agreement signed in February and a strategic partnership contract signed in March.

The event runs until Aug. 31. Customers who open a Hana Bank deposit and withdrawal account on the Meokkaebi app will receive a 3,000 won discount coupon. New Hana Bank customers will receive two additional 5,000 won discount coupons. As a result, customers who are doing business with Hana Bank for the first time can receive coupon benefits worth up to 13,000 won simply by opening an account.

Hana OneQ will also run a separate prize draw event. From the 25th to Aug. 31, customers who apply on the event page will be selected by drawing lots to receive Meokkaebi discount coupons. Prizes will be provided to 10 people with a 10,000 won coupon, 500 people with a 5,000 won coupon and 2,000 people with a 2,000 won coupon, and will be offered in two rounds in August and September.

A Hana Bank official said the bank expanded its cooperation with public delivery app Meokkaebi into benefits for individual customers. The official said the bank will continue to strengthen inclusive finance that can grow together with local communities.
