Shinhan Bank said on Nov. 28 it signed an agreement on Nov. 27 at Seoul City Hall with Seoul city, the Korea Franchise Industry Association and 11 pizza and burger franchises to promote Seoul Delivery Plus Ttaenggeoyo.

The bank said Ttaenggeoyo uses the slogan “a delivery app where benefits return” and offers a 2 percent commission, fast settlement and various discounts for consumers and merchants.

The agreement follows an April partnership with 18 chicken franchises and aims to expand consumer benefits and reduce burdens on self‑employed workers through the public delivery app run with Seoul city.

The 11 participating companies are major domestic pizza and burger chains including Domino’s Pizza, Pizza Hut, Lotteria, Burger King, No Brand Burger, Papa John’s Pizza, Cheongnyeon Pizza, Pizza Alvolo, No More Pizza, Pizza Maru and 7th Street Pizza.

Shinhan Bank plans to strengthen cooperation as the exclusive operator of Seoul Delivery Plus through B2B franchise support, joint marketing to expand merchant numbers and discount coupon promotions.

A Shinhan Bank official said the bank will maintain smooth communication with Seoul city and related bodies as operator of Seoul Delivery Plus Ttaenggeoyo and will build a platform that provides benefits to all stakeholders while strengthening Ttaenggeoyo branding.
