AI startup Cinnamon said on March 24 it was selected as a supplier for the 2026 AI Voucher Support Programme run by the Ministry of Science and ICT and the National IT Industry Promotion Agency (NIPA).
The AI Voucher Support Programme is a scheme that issues vouchers to small and medium-sized, venture and mid-sized companies that need to adopt AI, supporting their introduction of suppliers’ solutions. Companies that want to adopt Cinnamon’s solution can receive vouchers worth up to 200 million won.
The selected solution is the AI video production service CineV. It automatically converts text or scripts into 3D animation. It combines 3D physical space with AI motion technology to maintain consistency in character movement and backgrounds. Users can directly adjust camera composition and lighting, giving it greater freedom to control direction than existing AI video services, the company said.
Cinnamon previously raised a cumulative 25 billion won in investment from Krafton, Naver Z, Snow and Altos Ventures, among others. It was also selected for the Nvidia Inception programme. Through this project, it plans to target content companies such as web novels, webtoons, games and animation as key customers.
Cinnamon CEO Doo-sun Hong (홍두선) said, "We will support small content companies that hesitated to produce 3D video due to cost and technical barriers so they can create content with global competitiveness."
