Hana Bank said on Thursday it was selected as the global Best Private Bank for Real Estate Investing and the Best Private Bank in Korea in the PB Awards (World's Best Private Bank Awards 2026) run by U.S. financial and economic magazine Global Finance.

With the award, Hana Bank became the first in South Korea's financial sector to win the Best Private Bank for Real Estate Investing title.

It also received high marks in areas including providing customer-focused products and services, total wealth management services spanning financial and non-financial areas, and innovative specialised solutions leading the market. It was also selected as the Best Private Bank in Korea.

After winning two awards at the Global Finance PB Awards, Hana Bank will extend its record of winning at least 1 category for 11 consecutive years since becoming the first South Korean commercial bank to win Best Private Bank in Korea in 2016.

An official from Hana Bank's wealth management group said the award again reaffirmed on the international stage that Hana Bank is a leading wealth manager representing South Korea. The official said the bank would establish itself as a lifelong partner that grows with customers and shares happiness through sincere and differentiated customer-focused wealth management services.
