Comprehensive content company Dexter Studio said on Wednesday it has entered the short drama post-production market.
Dexter recently took part in digital intermediate (DI) color grading for Lezhin Entertainment's short drama platform Lezhin Snack original, "A Child's Dad Is My Male Friend." It was the first case of Dexter's DI division participating in short drama post-production work.
DI is a key post-production process that completes a video's emotion and mood. It has become an essential step not only for films and dramas but also for entertainment shows and short-form content.
Dexter is also expanding its work into OTT entertainment shows and independent films, including Netflix entertainment show "Super Rich Stranger" and Coupang Play entertainment show "Next Legend."
Shin Jeong-eun (신정은), a colorist at Dexter's DI division, said, "The more newly developed the field, the more important it is for skilled colorists with diverse experience and know-how to take part."
