KT Skylife said on Feb. 9 it posted 984.2 billion won in 2025 consolidated revenue and 23.0 billion won in operating profit.
KT Skylife said its earnings structure stabilised as amortisation of intangible assets and impairment losses fell sharply. It said earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) came to 164.3 billion won, maintaining stable cash-generating capacity.
The ipit TV service, launched in July last year, surpassed 124,000 cumulative active subscribers within six months of launch. It added 71,000 subscribers in the fourth quarter alone, helping the number of skyTV (satellite plus ipit TV) subscribers return to net additions.
The telecommunications services segment also grew. Active internet subscribers rose about 20 percent from a year earlier to 598,000. Mobile service subscribers also reached 443,000, maintaining a steady growth trend.
Chief Executive Young-beom Choi (최영범) said, "2025 was a meaningful year in which we laid the foundation for a rebound in the broadcasting business through the new product ipit TV and achieved a return to annual operating profit on a consolidated basis." He said, "In 2026, we will also enhance corporate value through sound growth."
