[DigitalToday reporter Ho-jung Lee (이호정)] Webzen said on Tuesday that the indie game "Lemore: Infested Kingdom" has changed its name to "Memories: Forsaken by Light" (Memories) and is preparing for an official release in the first half of this year.
Memories is an indie game published by Webzen and developed by South Korean game developer Black Anchor. It is a turn-based strategy RPG that pursues detailed strategic play, and has been offered in early access on Steam and Epic Games since October 2023.
Memories has improved overall gameplay over several updates over the past 2 years, based on feedback from early access participants.
The game title "Memories: Forsaken by Light" reflects the direction the game has taken during the update process.
Memories is a core element in the game’s universe. Players set out on an expedition to recover the Memories that has lost its mysterious light in a fallen city.
Along with the new title, the official release version to be unveiled in the first half of this year will add various content that lets players implement highly flexible strategies.
