Mydata company Banksalad said on Thursday it signed a memorandum of understanding with MegazoneCloud to strengthen its AI agents.

Under the agreement, Banksalad and MegazoneCloud plan to build a technical and strategic cooperation framework that can present a vision in the AI era. They also aim to expand mutual technology exchanges in cloud and data infrastructure.

They will focus on building a foundation to provide financial consumers with a more intuitive and personalised service environment by combining a mydata-centred data infrastructure with generative AI technology.

They also plan to jointly establish a trusted AI use system, on the premise of information security and regulatory compliance. They aim to set data and AI use standards so financial consumers can use services with greater peace of mind.

MegazoneCloud, a cloud specialist with strengths in cloud migration and AI and data analysis, will support the advancement of Banksalad's data infrastructure and research into AI services through the cooperation.

Based on this, Banksalad will step up development of a generative AI-based financial agent. Banksalad has presented the "My AI" vision as the first in the industry to combine an AI agent with mydata, and showcased its future concept "Topping+" at Korea Fintech Week 2025.

A Banksalad official said the two companies would seek a model of continued collaboration by leveraging their strengths in data infrastructure and cloud. The official said it would introduce services that help solve financial consumers' problems in a safe data environment and provide tangible customer benefits.
