Naver said on Wednesday it has opened a special page for the 2026 Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games and will live stream major events via Chzzk.

Chzzk will provide real-time coverage of matches broadcast on TV network channels and key esports matches during the tournament from Sept. 19 to Oct. 4. It will begin with the men’s national team basketball preliminary scheduled for 4 p.m. on Wednesday, ahead of the opening ceremony.

Alongside the broadcasts, it will also run sports creator “watch-along” content. Shoot for Love, Park Jong-yoon (박종윤), Nongtteoreuman and Yoo Hee-kwan will watch games with guests and share real-time reactions. Chzzk streamers and clip creators will be dispatched on site to deliver live streams and clips from inside and outside venues.

Naver will also expand AI-based viewing features for the event. It will apply “AI Clip” and “AI Chapter,” which it provided for the North and Central America World Cup and EWC (Esports World Cup 2026), to help users quickly check key moments and desired segments of matches.

It will also introduce a new feature called “multi-source highlights.” The method bundles videos generated from multiple live broadcasts by athlete, team and topic into a single clip or video on demand (VOD). It automatically selects key moments from multiple live broadcasts by the same broadcaster and provides them to that channel.

The clips will also include Korean subtitles using speech-to-text (STT) technology. The plan is to provide subtitles of key content from Korean-language commentary audio to improve viewing convenience.

On the Asian Games special page, users can check schedules for 469 matches across 43 sports. In the dedicated Asian Games lounge, it also plans to run events where users and sports experts can take part in cheering, analysis and discussion.
