KT will offer 88 children of long-term customers a chance to enter the pitch alongside South Korea's national soccer team players as part of a player escort programme.
KT said on Sept. 10 it will run the player escort programme at four national team friendly matches starting on Sept. 24 through its long-term customer programme, "Chodae Dream."
The matches are against Ecuador on Sept. 24 (Suwon World Cup Stadium), Uruguay on Sept. 28 (Seoul World Cup Stadium), Venezuela on Oct. 2 (Ulsan Munsu Football Stadium) and Uzbekistan on Oct. 6 (Yongin Mireu Stadium).
KT will select a total of 88 children, 22 per match, from customers with children aged 6 to 10. Winning families will receive tickets allowing one child and two guardians to watch the match together.
Customers can apply if their combined KT mobile, internet and IPTV service period is at least 5 years. Applications can be submitted through the "Long-term Customer Benefits" section on KT.com until Sept. 14, and winners will be notified individually on Sept. 17.
Young-geol Kim (김영걸), an executive director and head of KT's Customer Business Division, said the company will continue to expand experiential programmes that long-time KT customers and their families can enjoy together.
